Staying Fit

Everyone is interested in a healthy and active life, especially if your reading fitness blogs. Right? Some people prefer certain workouts, foods and even supplements. But what works best? Well I think everyone would chime in a different opinion on that question. But I will tell you what works for me, personally. And honestly, I think it can work for everyone.

I have been introduced to beachbody, (check out my personal site here) a company that makes the program P90X (which most people are familiar with). They have a ton of other programs and supplements as well, but that one seems to be the most popular. It is a great company because they support all fitness levels. Beachbody changes millions of peoples lives every single day. Including my own.

Before Beachbody, I would go to the gym and spend about an hour and a half everyday between cardio and weights, and I became bored. I became bored because I wasn’t seeing results. And although I enjoyed eating well, I didn’t realize just how important nutrition was. I always had an idea, but it wasn’t until I became more interested in Beachbody, that I knew how to gain control of nutrition. With every program, they also provide you with a nutrition book that sets you up for success.

I was always an athletic girl and I played soccer my entire life. When I went off to college, like most other kids, my lifestyle became more sedentary than active. Not only that, but this also mixed in with late night drinking and eating. This obviously had a negative effect on my weight, emotions, and ultimately my happiness.

Although my weight never became a huge deal (I was still considered average) but I wasn’t happy. I also don’t really have before and after pictures (you know, doing the exercises poses…maybe I should get on that!) But in some pictures I came across of myself, I can notice the difference, and maybe you can too.

First… let me say, my two biggest successful products from Beachbody (so far!!) have been Shakeology and Insanity.

I’m on the left in this picture. This is also the heaviest I’ve ever been. This was also before I started using Shakeology or Insanity. (Keep in mind that I’m still in the process on losing weight and becoming healthier).

I never thought I would become a “runner” or even enjoy running. I’d like to thank Insanity for this, because this program continues to dramatically improve my cardio! Since using Insanity I have ran a Warrior Dash, 5k and a 10k.

Like I said before, I am in the process of becoming a happier and healthier me, with the help of beachbody. I am also a beachbody coach, which allows me to help and motivate others.

Like many of my readers may have noticed, I drink Shakeology basically everyday and talk about it all the time! I am just amazed at what Shakeology has done for me. I feel energized all the time, never sluggish. When I was waitressing, Shakeology kept me pumped up and ready to go for hours on end on my feet on busy nights when I wouldn’t get the chance to eat an actual real meal.

I plan on writing a lot about Shakeology and all of the products that Beachbody has to offer so that readers that are interested can have a better understanding.

Until then, check out some of my websites to get a better idea!

  • Shakeology
  • TeamBeachBody (To learn more about the various different fitness programs, click the tab “Shop” to explore what they have to offer!)

And with that, I’ll leave you with an awesome video about Shakeology!

huh, I have done P90X and loved it but I’ve never tried Shakeology! I’m intrigued and it’s nice to know that someone uses it regularly with good results!
