I was able to make myself wake up this morning for another Bikram Yoga class. I enjoyed the first one so much that I decided to go again. Let me just say, I think getting naked after this yoga class is the “normal” thing to do. Most people just casually got undressed in front of eachother after the class ended. I don’t know, call me crazy but it sort of makes me uncomfortable! I also did something new today and went to yoga on an empty stomach. I know that they say you should work out first thing in the morning and what not, but for some reason I just got into the habit of eating as soon as I wake up. Well today I decided not to eat breakfast before yoga, but my main reason was because they recommend that you do not eat 2-3 hours prior to class. By the end of the class, though I was extrememly fatigued and couldn’t wait to get home.
Once I got home, I tossed 2 pieces of seseme seed Ezekiel bread into the toaster. And of course, I topped them both with peanut butter, flax seeds and chia seeds 🙂 Oh, and cinnamon! I heard from The Drs., that cinnamon can actually help with the prevention of Diabetes! Did you know that? 🙂
And on the side of breakfast, I enjoyed some yummy almonds. Almonds are one of the best snacks! 🙂
The rest of the day includes getting ready, getting some school work done (I know aren’t I suppose to be on spring break?), and hanging out with my friend Keri and her baby Kaedyn! 🙂
